Kirite is known for high-end technology, but not now.
Due to the Pandemic, Kirite has been pushed back to its pre-modern age where people rely on both physical and virtual documents. Since they wish to expand their advancement while remaining sustainable with energy, Kiritians tend to use more renewable sources such as the wind, sun, and mana energy.
Virtual Reality
Kirite has the technological prowess to simulate reality in an instant, transferring a person's consciousness into the world. However, the project remains only in prototype and in continuous research and development due to ethical and safety issues in testing.
An ethical reason that often being raised is sudden harm to the person while their senses are within the virtual space, making a huge disconnect between the person and the body, leading to unintended fatalities.
Preservation System
One of the things that the regions address the issue of Terminus Syndrome is to create the Preservation System. Located deep underground, people are put to sleep in chambers as they are decontaminated for a long time. During that time, they are subjected to simulating their dreams, and once they are decontaminated they are discharged and re-integrated into society.
Holograms and Software
quality LED boards and screens are very common in Lycana, which they continuously develop to perfection. Unfortunately, that is not the case in Hyanes and Songseol, where such technology is in their prototype versions but almost ready to be released.
All of the regions use couriers and physical documents to get information across, and often tallies with whiteboards, blackboards, or even scrolls/books.
Cross-Node Travel
The Cross-Node Travel System (full name is the Cross Node Transport System Grid) is the fastest method to get between regions. this is a similar function to Airplanes, but their appearance is subways that lead to other places.
However, this system often needs very high maintenance, especially between the region of Songseol and Hyanes where railways between the two regions are underwater, which are prone to leakage and cause delays in travel or shipping of goods. To prevent any inconveniences, people also consider and/or prefer taking ferries across Kirite when traveling to another region. The issue is not much of a problem when it comes to Lycana and Hyanes as they have the Giana-Herne Border Bridge.
Interdimensional Travel
Kirite is no stranger when it comes to travelling with portals or dimensional gates! However, many do recognize the side effects to prolonged exposure to one, such as slight fatigue or dizziness.
Mechanical Armor Suits
Hunter Mercenaries and military personnel are known to use this machinery, but only in certain instances. While it is made for specific groups, these suits or robot machine are still being developed as well for construction use, and other purposes to which it is deemed necessary.
